My husband and I could not be happier with Happy Beginnings and the time our 2-year-old daughter spent with the staff over the past year. We had taken tours of other larger daycare centers and did not connect with them. Alternately, from the moment we spoke with the staff, we knew that our daughter would thrive at Happy Beginnings. They focus on teaching social/emotional skills like sharing and working together in addition to the conventional topics/areas (colors, numbers, animals, etc.) and put an emphasis on feeding the kids healthy, organic food and milk that is locally sourced. Our daughter adjusted incredibly well to attending daycare and looked forward to going to Happy Beginnings every morning because of the caring and fun environment that the staff provide. Our daughter loved playing with the other kids and taking part in fun activities to celebrate and teach the kids about different holidays. We were struck by how calm and confident the staff were in managing the spectrum of emotions exhibited by the toddlers. I personally reached out to them on several occasions for advice on how best to handle occasional challenging behaviors at home. The staff were excellent at communication on a day-to-day basis and very flexible in coordinating ad-hoc departures for doctors appointments or emergencies. We appreciate all of the love and care the Happy Beginnings Staff showed our daughter.
We started sending our son to Happy Beginnings when he was 3 months and we were mostly thinking about leaving him when he was so young so that is what we focused on when looking for childcare. We weren't thinking much about the toddler years and all those challenges. We've been so happy with Happy Beginnings and confident that he is safe and in the best hands but also with someone who is great with toddlers! We love the kids' mixed age group and all the activities they do everyday including going outside from a young age. It eases a lot of worries as a parent knowing he is so happy to get there everyday, eats great food, and is learning a lot. Our daughter attended Happy Beginnings Child Care from 15 weeks old until she was 19 months old and we absolutely loved it. Happy Beginning provided such a caring and nurturing environment. We felt comfortable dropping our daughter off every morning and it was encouraging to see how happy she was when she would run to start playing with the toys. Even when she couldn’t express her feelings in words, we could tell she truly enjoyed being there. Happy Beginnings provided a healthy blend of independent play, outdoor time, group story activities, arts and crafts, and pretend play all while maintaining a structured schedule that the children needed. In addition, the children are exposed to well-balanced, nutritional meals which is crucial for their development. One thing that really stands out about this childcare is how kind all the children are towards one another. The staff treat the children like their own and this was evident by the smile that would come across our daughter’s face at the mention of her teacher’s names. As first time parents, the childcare staff were instrumental in answering questions for us and providing us with invaluable information regarding the growth and development of our daughter. We are grateful for her guidance. The only reason our daughter stopped attending the child care was because we moved to another state for new jobs. We highly recommend Happy Beginnings Child Care to anyone looking for a compassionate, encouraging, and enriching environment for their child to flourish in.

"Both of my children attended Happy Beginnings Child Care and I couldn't have been happier with our experience. The best thing about this childcare is that it provides a structured, daily schedule and the children adapt to the routine and always know what to expect. The staff are very knowledgeable about children and their needs, as well as developmental milestones and getting your child to become a good eater and sleeper. I relied on the staff so much during the first few years for advice and guidance, and she was instrumental in building a strong foundation for both of our children while my husband and I worked full time. "Both our children attend HBCC since they were three months old and we couldn’t be happier. HBCC offers a wonderful structured program, a clean environment, and loving atmosphere. HBCC put my mind at ease when I returned to work and made me feel comfortable and assured our children are safe and well cared for. Both always have a huge smile on their faces when we pick up, obviously having the time of their lives there. HBCC is not just a childcare center but follow a school curriculum. Our son is learning numbers, colors, the alphabet, and spelling of his name. He impresses us each day what he has learned through HBCC's program. "My daughter attended Happy Beginnings Child Care Program from the time she was 12 weeks until she was 15 months, and we loved the childcare! From the very first drop-off I was put at ease, and was helped through those early months of being a working mom. The childcare did lots of fun, educational activities with the kids and I was impressed with the quality of the food they served- most of it came straight from local farms. I never had to worry about whether my daughter was well cared for while I was working- it was obvious because she was happy and thriving. "My son started at Happy Beginnings Child Care Program at 1 year old. The program provided the care we had been searching for! The program is extremely professional and organized. My son got a head start on learning things for pre-school and kindergarten. The program included potty training. We love how the kids have a predictable routine for each day. " Our son joined Happy Beginnings Child Care Program when he was 7 months old. At that time we were looking for a childcare that could provide him with excellent attention and care. When we interviewed with the Happy Beginnings staff about the program , we were convinced this is the best fit for him. Happy Beginnings Staff made the transition process very clear and smooth. He enjoyed each and every moment there while he was enrolled. He was always smiling whenever we dropped him off and clearly enjoyed his time in the childcare. Our son, who is now 3 1/2 years old, has attended Happy Beginnings Child Care Program since he was 3 months old,
and we have been so happy with the care and nurturing that he has received there. The child care offers a great
combination of play and structured learning activities, and we feel our son is receiving a great foundation for starting
school. It is clear when we pick him up in the afternoon that he's had a great day; it gives us peace of mind to know he
is in good hands all day. In addition to the play and learning activities, the childcare provides an environment that
fosters the development of kindness and consideration. I have consistently been impressed at how nicely the older
children there behave toward each other, the younger children, and parents.
Now that my son is one of the older children, I can definitely see the effects of this environment. I highly recommend

"We loved our experience at Happy beginnings child care. Our daughter spent 3 nourishing years under the care of the childcare staff, from age 1 to 4. She loves to go to the program every morning and has lots of good things to say when she comes back home in the evening. The childcare setting is always super clean and well kept. Special mention to the healthy meals the staff provides and we love that our daughter is getting a healthy diet. We will miss the staff and the childcare program so much. My son attended Happy Beginnings Child Care Program for 2 years. From 18 months to 3 and half years of age.
I can't say enough positive things about the Childcare. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive during
the difficult transition of leaving my son for the first time so that I could return to work. They helped ease his
anxiety and mine and reassured me consistently that he was doing better and better each day.
It has been a blessing to have that peace of mind so that I can work outside my home. I can't thank the
childcare enough for that. Not only has the program provided peace of mind, but I'm confident my son has
learned a great deal from attending Happy Beginnings . My son can communicate well with me and has learned
the importance of friendship and kindness by attending the program. I would recommend Happy Beginnings Child
